The individual pieces that make up each article of furniture are cut by machine and are identical. Each joint is mortised and then doweled to insure a quality joint that will never come apart or loosen.  Quality epoxy adhesive is used to insure maximum bonding strength in the joints.

Finally, each piece is meticulously sanded to a fine velvety smooth finish and then finished according to the customers requirements. In most cases, this is a natural finish with several
coats of teak oil applied.

It is a common myth that teak oil will prolong the life of your teak furniture and keep that natural color the furniture had when it was new. This however is a myth.  Below you can see some unretouched photographs of five year old of teak furniture products that were finished with a UV protective coating and then several coats of teak oil. The furniture has been left outside and been subjected to the harsh elements without any maintenance for five years. As you can see, the furniture still turned gray over time which is very normal.  To restore the furniture to its original color, you can wash it and then sand it lightly with a fine grain sandpaper and then reapply teak oil if you wish.

Our A+ quality teak outdoor furniture is manufactured with the finest quality tectona grandis available from Indonesian government managed forests. We use the best clear grain timber and kiln dry the wood to 9%-12% moisture content at the finished stabilization point.
