Bali Exports Co. uses a variety of finishing processes depending upon the type of furniture being manufactured. The most common finish for Antique Reproduction furniture that is made from mahogany
is a finish called "NC" (Nitrocellulose).
Nitrocellulose is a very strong and durable finish that gives the furniture a very tough outer shell as well as a beautiful shine and luster. The colors we use are natural, honey, pecan and walnut.
Color samples are shown in the pictures below and these are the most common colors used in the furniture industry.

Our teak furniture products are most commonly finished in what is called a "Natural" finish.
In this process, the wood is fine sanded. Optionally, you can choose to have teak oil applied. This is the most common finish we use for our teak outdoor furniture. For our teak indoor furniture, we use the natural finish as well as the same finishes we apply to our Antique Reproduction pieces.
Another popular finish that is used for teak outdoor furniture is what we call a "Honey" finish.
The table is first fine sanded and then finished with teak oil and wax. The wax gives the furniture a slight glossy look.
